Hi, I'm Michelle, licensed therapist and owner of Fresh Perspectives Counseling LLC!

The name Fresh Perspectives is inspired by the power of being seen, heard, and understood. These main principles and high ethical standards drive my counseling style and are foundational to the work I do in therapy. As a therapist (and as a human) who has sat in the counseling seat herself, being seen, heard, and understood is one of the most powerful experiences I have had. It’s incredibly validating and can take the pressure away, that pressure we often experience when we feel frustration, misunderstood, and when life is going with a curve ball we weren’t expecting. Feeling seen, heard, and understood can give us space in our situations; space that can allow us to choose how to respond to situations instead that knee jerk reaction behavior pattern. When we use effective effective treatment plans, interventions, suitable homework, and focusing on what works for you individually, we see the healing happen.
